It's easy to download YouTube Videos, just use clive:

clive <youtube url>

Easy peasy. Check out this

Tags: video flash youtube

There is also youtube-dl, an handy script when all I just want is the direct link to the video, so I can open it in Totem or any other player. But youtube-dl also downloads videos, just like clive.
