Extracting aac Audio from a flv File
27 January 2011 @ 09:32 GMT
by Paul

First determine what type of audio is in the flv file:

ffmpeg -i input.flv

There should be a line containing something like this:

Stream #0.1: Audio: aac, 44100 Hz, stereo, s16

Now extract the audio:

ffmpeg -i input.flv -acodec copy audio.aac

Change input.flv and audio.aac appropriately.
